Ability to Override the Price of Pantry Items

Agilysys Stay is enhanced to restrict unauthorized users from modifying the price of a pantry item added to cart. Only authorized users will now be allowed to modify the price of a pantry item.

Users can modify the price of a pantry item from any of the below screens:

• Front Desk ➜ Pantry

• Reservation ➜ Folio ➜ More ➜ Pantry

To support this feature, a new popup screen, Confirm Rate Price Override, has been introduced. Users must authenticate themselves, before attempting to modify the price of a pantry item.

Clicking on Confirm will authenticate the user and they will be able to successfully modify the price of the pantry item. If the user is not successfully authenticated, the following error message will be displayed: Permission Denied! You do not have permission to perform the override.

This is applicable only for users who have the new permission, StayPantryrateoverride, added to their roles. This new permission is added to the following roles:

• System Administrator

• Stay Hotel Manager

• Department Manager

• Stay Hotel Supervisor

• GSA Supervisor

The Pantry feature setting should be enabled to use the pantry module for the property.
